Kamaljeet P. Murthy, MD
Kamaljeet P. Murthy, MD spent her childhood in Okinawa, Japan. She completed her premedical education at the University of Washington in 1994 and then went on to earn her medical degree from the University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine in 1998. Dr. Murthy completed her obstetrics and gynecology internship and residency at Rush-Presbyterian-St. Luke’s Medical Center in 2002. She practiced at Pennsylvania Hospital until 2005 and joined the Northwestern faculty in 2006. She is a clinical assistant professor and is heavily involved in teaching the Northwestern medical students. Her clinical areas of special interest are complex vaginitis and vulvar disease, contraceptive management, bone health, and high risk obstetrics.
Dr. Murthy is married to a fellow physician and has raised three sons in Chicago.
