Lauren Heitman, MSN, WHNP-BC is a board-certified women’s health nurse practitioner. Lauren obtained her bachelor’s degree from Indiana University in Science of nursing.  She practiced as a registered nurse in the postpartum unit at Northwestern Medicine. She completed her nurse practitioner studies with a Master of Science in Nursing at Vanderbilt University.

Lauren is trained to provide general obstetric and gynecological care including annual well-woman visits, STD screening, contraceptive counseling, prenatal care, and postpartum care. Lauren is passionate about providing preventative, patient centered healthcare and enjoys optimizing the physical, social, and emotional health of women of all ages. She is an active member of the Nurse Practitioners in Women’s Health organization.

Lauren lives in Chicago and enjoys spending time with her fiancé, family, friends, and kittens. Lauren enjoys traveling, cooking, crafting, and exercising.
