Stephanie W. Lau, MD
Stephanie W. Lau, MD earned her medical degree at Rush Medical College in Chicago in 2005. She completed her OB/GYN residency at the University of Illinois in Chicago Medical Center in 2009. She practiced at Rush University Medical Center and at Lutheran General Hospital before settling at the Women’s Group here at Northwestern Memorial Hospital in 2013. She is board certified in Obstetrics & Gynecology and is also a Clinical Assistant Professor in Obstetrics and Gynecology at the Feinberg School of Medicine, Northwestern University.
She has dedicated her career to providing compassionate care and education to patients through all stages of a woman's life. Her special interests are contraception including IUDs and Nexplanon, comprehensive prenatal care, evaluation and management of abnormal pap smears, and active management of abnormal uterine bleeding.
Dr. Lau lives in Northbrook with her husband and 2 sons. In her spare time, she enjoys running and pickleball.
